A late 19th century production in the style of a late 15th or early 16th century Gothic cupboard made in northern Germany. Lacking back on the upper portion and some other minor structural work done on the interior.
Height 92", width 70", depth 21".
Comparables. Two similar German cupboards were sold at Sotheby's "Property from the Royal House of Hanover" sale on 10/5/2005. Lot #1402 has a near identical style to the frame, and lot 1401 shows a little different style. These lots can be seen at the following links:

Condition: The exterior is in excellent condition, but the back of the upper section was removed, and another board cut in modern times (probably to fit a large TV for an entertainment center). The back will need to be replaced.
